All of our instructors undergo enhanced DBS checks and take part in regular safeguarding training. As a member of JKA England, we follow JKA England’s safeguarding policies, procedures and regulations.
Your safeguarding contact
Club Welfare Officer
Our Club Welfare Officer is available to listen, offer guidance and make sure safeguarding concerns are handled appropriately.
Adam’s role within the club
Adam is the first point of contact for safeguarding and welfare matters at Stevenage Karate Club. His role is to help promote a safe club environment, listen to concerns, provide appropriate advice and ensure that any safeguarding matter is recorded and referred through the correct channels.
He also supports the club in following JKA England’s safeguarding requirements and helps instructors, students, parents and carers understand how to raise a concern.

If a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical attention, call the emergency services on 999.
